SplitNice

Privacy policy

Last updated: 6 October 2026

SplitNice is a free app for splitting expenses with friends, made by Khushal Gogia ("I", "me"). This page explains what the app stores, why, and how you can remove it.

What SplitNice stores

SplitNice does not use advertising, analytics or tracking tools, and does not read your contacts, location or files.

Why

Only to run the app: to keep your squads in sync across your devices and with the people you share them with, to show balances, and to work out who owes whom.

Who can see your data

I don't sell or share your data with anyone else.

Security

Data is sent over encrypted connections (HTTPS). Database rules limit what each signed-in account can change.

How long data is kept, and deleting it

Your data is kept while your account exists. Signing out removes the copy on your phone. To delete your account and personal data, follow the steps on Delete your SplitNice account.

Children

SplitNice is not meant for children under 13, and I don't knowingly collect their data.

Changes

If this policy changes, the new version will be posted on this page with a new date.
